My name is Brian Dale Cruse...I was born and raised here in Huntsville, Alabama...I have been
seriously committed to photography since 1997, and still have my first Canon Rebel EOS Rebel G-(an amazing camera- although
I no longer use it much). I am currently enjoying my Canon Powershot S3-IS Digital SLR- simply to keep up with technology
& quality, and to cut costs when I travel,- but also because of the amazing performance that it provides.
I married my wife, Beth in 2001, and we love to travel together. She is priceless for many things- one amazing reason being
that she supports my photography and lets me shoot on all of our global adventures, and that's hard to find in most
cases! I treat her extra special and she puts up with me! As a Worship Leader at our church, I see the beauty
of God in all of the Earth, and I strive to capture this beauty and power for all to see...
My mother Kathy and stepfather Alain travel to all ends of the earth, and although it was a
cross country trip down into Mexico at age 12 that got me addicted to traveling, they have also "sowed their seeds"
into the rest of our family. We have been all over France (Alain is from Paris), and Italy on different occasions, which
offer some of the best photography experiences on the entire planet. We have more recently come home after a two
week trip to "Provence" and the Mediterannean coast in September 2007. The light and weather was absolutely
perfect, and many more photos were added to my gallery. Beth and I also made it out to Colorado/New Mexico. There
are so many wonderful experiences to tell from these travels. Good thing I kept a detailed journal of all of them...
These times are truly treasured! As you experience other cultures and ways of life, certain, familiar things that
we take for granted here in the United States become even more valuable.
Beth and I have also traveled extensively in the states- particularly the gorgeous Northwest, Southwest, and Rocky
Mountain West. My photography takes a "time-stamp" of the moment and seals it forever in the heart and mind...
